About Us
One Brain and Spine is a specialist neurosurgical group uniting leading surgeons to deliver advanced, personalised care through a collaborative, patient-centred approach.
Our Story
Leading expertise. One shared vision. A better model of care.
One Brain and Spine was founded by three of Melbourne’s most respected and experienced neurosurgeons who recognised that complex neurological care is too often fragmented and difficult to navigate. Patients can find themselves moving between multiple specialists, disconnected systems, and unclear pathways at an already challenging time.
They saw an opportunity to create something better: a practice built on collaboration, where expertise is shared, communication is seamless, and patients feel supported from the moment they seek help.
What began as a conversation between colleagues evolved into a unified model of care. By bringing together complementary skills and subspecialty expertise, the group was designed to provide a more coordinated and considered approach to treatment.
Today, One Brain and Spine reflects that founding vision: a place where patients benefit from the collective insight of a team, not just an individual clinician — and where care is defined not only by clinical excellence, but by clarity, compassion, and trust.

Doctors
Meet the specialists dedicated to delivering your care.
Our Approach
A collaborative, patient-centred approach to neurosurgical care.
One Brain and Spine brings together some of Australia’s leading neurosurgeons and spinal surgeons, united by a shared commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care. Whether you are experiencing a complex spinal condition, a neurological disorder, or persistent pain, our team works together to guide you toward the best possible outcome.
Our approach is built on collaboration. Every patient benefits from the combined expertise of the group, with treatment decisions shaped by shared insight, careful consideration, and a focus on what matters most to each person.
We prioritise clear communication at every stage — helping patients understand their condition, their options, and what to expect. This clarity builds confidence and allows patients and their families to make informed decisions about their care.
We also recognise the importance of access. From your first interaction with our team, we aim to make the process as straightforward and supportive as possible, ensuring you reach the right specialist care without unnecessary complexity.
As the practice evolves, our vision is to grow into a fully integrated centre, bringing together complementary specialties including neurology, pain management, and allied health — creating a more complete and connected model of care.
